A respite care provider is the person who helps relieve a family of caretaking responsibilities for a designated amount of time. Our company seeks to match you with a client in a way that benefits all. What ages do you like to work with? What is your availability? Do you have experience with medical conditions (not necessary but helpful for some clients)? Are you comfortable with challenging behaviors? Where are you located or willing to drive to? We want to get to know you better so we can match you appropriately.
During the time you are with the client, we encourage you to have fun!
Examples of fun include: walking on the beach, going to the movies, eating out at restaurants, ice cream trips, coffee excursions, playing at the park, board games or puzzles at home, art, play-doh, cooking, etc. Speaking with your client and their family can give you lots of ideas for fun ways to spend your time with them.
